What Is SAEIV Solution?
SAEIVE is our aggregate solution developed for Dakar – Senegal for the Dakar Dem Dikk (DDD) and expected to be deployed and operational during year 2024. In addition to its many back-office functionalities, the project includes the supply and installation of sales agencies equipment serving as Ticket Office Machines and all user-interface devices.
User-interface devices such as handheld machines used for card sales activities and for card inspection activities, the Electronic Validation Machines (EVD), multifunctional driver consoles, as well as busses onboard equipment required to ensure the connectivity between the different system components.
The backend solution is cloud based, protected with the highest security standards and is also scalable to serve the client’s future requirements. This aggregate solution is covering different parts of the public bus operation activities and functionalities

Network & Planning allowing to manage the operator network from stops creation to routes and runtimes as well as the planning for the provided services like trips, duties and rosters.
Fleet Management providing the operator with a powerful tool to keep an eye on vehicles under his fleet and analyzing the performance.
Automated Fare Collection encompasses three types: the NFC card, paper ticket with QR code, and e-ticket with QR code.
Passenger Information to keep passengers aware of the planned services and trips statuses.
PASSENGER INFORMATION
The solution includes also the development of different front-end applications on different devices for the different project roles as well as a mobile application for the passengers where they can have access to the Passenger Information and where they can also have a personalized profile providing them with an array of functionalities including buying intercity tickets.
DDD BUSSES
Busses at DDD were equipped with the Electronic Validation Machines (EVD) to allow passengers tapping in and tapping out with their NFC cards at the start / end of their travel to automatically calculate the travel fare. The GTSC will be using our supplied Ticket Office machines and handheld machines to issue these NFC cards to the public, top-up cards in circulation, selling of paper tickets when required, as well as to randomly inspect cards with passengers on board of the busses. The ticket office machine app will also provide DDD with other functionalities like sales of different pass types and personalization of the NFC cards.
Seamless Operation
While all supplied equipment is communicating to the back-office through the 4G network, in order to allow seamless operation, our front end app allows the on-board EVDs to operate offline without affecting their functionality.
